90 Day Fiance fans are slamming Before the 90 Days star, Sunny Mahdi as being “hypocritical.” He has been actively pursuing a romance with Veah Netherton and it looked like they could make it work. Unfortunately, red flags popped up and viewers are now unhappy with his back-and-forth behavior. Keep reading for more details.
90 Day Fiance Fans Slam Sunny Mahdi As ‘Hypocritical’
Sunny Mahdi and Veah Netherton met and fell in love online. He was originally from Bangladesh but now helps his father in South Africa. As for Veah, she is based in Florida but their initial 90 Day Fiance meeting was anything but normal. Veah was understandably nervous about leaving the country to meet Sunny so she brought a human safety in the form of her ex-boyfriend, Rory. Of course, she kept him hidden from Sunny, but it was very uncomfortable once he was revealed. Before the 90 Days fans were skeptical of Veah’s intentions and it was awkward and uncomfortable between the two men.
Eventually, Rory did head home when Veah knew she would have to choose. She then met Sunny’s father and he held nothing back. He made it clear that she would have to convert to Islam and remove her tattoos. Veah also seemed blindsided by the whole conversation. She did not appear to know she had to convert or that Sunny was vehemently against tattoos. He had been going against his religion given they had been intimate and he was drinking so it was hypocritical behavior.
Fans are now calling Sunny Mahdi out for this as he picks and chooses when he wants to observe his religion and when he wants to throw it out the window. The 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days star proposed to Veah in the December 29th episode. He chose her over his family, accepting she would never convert though his father denied the engagement. Now, a Reddit thread has been started and viewers are done with Sunny:

When It Suits Him
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days fans noticed that Sunny Mahdi brings up his religion when it suits him. He knew that his father was against Veah but before he could tell her she had to convert, he slept with her. Veah Netherton made it clear that a good Muslim boy would not be intimate before marriage so what he was saying was baseless. Fans seemed to be on Veah’s side:

- This guy is the worst. He is a real POS. The fact that he can claim to be a devout Muslim,then go drink, go have pre-marital sex, and then claim that his fiancé must convert for his religion’s sake, is completely udder BS. Unfortunately, the woman he is courting, is too abused to realize that this guy is a real sh*t bag.
It is clear what will happen between the two of them and how much of an influence Sunny’s father has over him. In a clip for the tell-all, they were both on screens so this is already hard to navigate.
