‘Beyond the Gates’ Reaches Major Milestone Few Shows Ever Reach, Tapes 100th Episode

The 100th episode is set to air sometime in mid-to-late July.

While most television shows are lucky to reach the century mark during their entire run, today, April 10, marked a major milestone for “Beyond the Gates” as the brand new daytime drama series taped its 100th episode.

“So this happened today. 100 episodes! Wow. So much love to my #BeyondTheGates fam,” said series creator and head writer Michele Val Jean in a post she shared on X (formerly Twitter) that was accompanied by a photo of a celebratory cake embedded with shots of the cast/crew. “You guys amaze me every day. Here’s to the next hundred,” she added.

The caption on the cake itself read, “Cheers to 100 episodes!”

In response to Val Jean’s post, breakdown writer Sara Bibel said, “Time flies when you’re creating drama…”

Production on “Beyond the Gates” formally commenced in November 2024, giving the show ample time to bank episodes before it premiered on Monday, February 24. As a result, the show is at least three months ahead in terms of its tape-to-air schedule.

As of today’s broadcast, the show has aired just 32 episodes, meaning that the 100th episode is likely to air sometime in mid-to-late July due to upcoming holidays and potential sports preemptions due to CBS’ coverage of UEFA Champion League Soccer.
