Congratulations! Christine Defeats Kody in Legal Battle and Wins Custody of Her Children!

Sister Wives’ Christine Brown sues ex Kody Brown for custody of daughter, three years after split

Christine Brown is taking legal action against her ex-husband Kody Brown.

Just nearly three years after ending her marriage with Kody, 55, in November 2021, Christine, 52, has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the Sister Wives patriarch.

According to the court documents obtained by In Touch, Christine is suing Kody for child support and custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Truely Brown.

Christine is said to have filed the legal paperwork on Monday, Sept. 16, formally requesting the court to establish paternity of her youngest daughter since Kody isn’t listed on Truely’s birth certificate.

Additionally, Christine requested a domestic relations injunction that would stop both parties from harassment, domestic violence, demeaning or disparaging the other party, canceling or modifying services and taking the child for “nonroutine travel” without court orders or permission, In Touch reports.

Since her parents separated, Truely has been living with her mom in Murray, Utah after Christine sold her home in Flagstaff, Ariz in October 2021. Kody and Christine officially announced their separation via Instagram the following month.

Christine was spiritually married to Kody for over 25 years, meaning their marriage was recognized by the church but not the state. Throughout their 25 years of plural marriage, they welcomed six children together: Aspyn, 29, Mykelti, 28, Paedon, 26, Gwendlyn, 22, Ysabel, 21 and Truely.
