Karla Mosley has appeared on numerous other CBS programs in addition to Beyond the Gates, the new soap opera on which she plays the dynamic Dani Dupree. The actress is returning to one of those shows, but it’s only for a limited run.
The Right Stuff
Mosley made her daytime debut on Guiding Light as Christina. When the serial ended in 2009, Mosley moved to the West Coast and joined Bold and the Beautiful as Maya Avant. After leaving B&B, Mosley popped up on The Young and the Restless, subbing for Mishael Morgan as Amanda Sinclair.
Fans may remember that the actress also appeared on The Price Is Right, the long-running CBS game show hosted by Drew Carey. Now, Mosley is doing double duty. Along with bringing Dani to live on Beyond the Gates, the actress is returning to The Price Is Right.
According to TV Insider, Mosley is coming back as a guest model to the popular game show. She’s going to appear on TPIR’s Monday, April 7th episode.
Mosley has been on The Price is Right about 14 times since 2014. “Hey, why don’t you give a nice welcome to Karla Mosley from the new CBS soap, Beyond The Gates,” Carey says to the audience. To Mosley, the host asked, “Is your character nice or evil?”
Dani Is Dynamic
“My character is not always nice,” Mosley responded. Well, that’s for sure! Dani has not held back when it comes to letting all of Fairmont Crest know how she feels about her ex-husband Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) taking up with and marrying the much younger Hayley (Marquita Goings).
As viewers saw in the show’s premiere week, Dani slapped Hayley across the face, and then, later in the week, she took out a gun at Hayley and Bill’s wedding. Dani said it was one thing when Bill was having affairs behind her back, but she couldn’t stand that he was parading his new (younger) wife around Fairmont Crest in her presence — that was beyond what Dani could take.
CBS has cross-promoted its lineup in many instances. Actors from Y&R and B&B have appeared on TPIR and Let’s Make a Deal. Viewers can expect to see Mosley throughout the entire episode of the game show.
