Sister Wives star Christine Brown’s new husband’s niece and two kids murdered in Mexico
The husband of Sister Wives star Christine Brown suffered a family tragedy after his niece and her two young children were murdered in Mexico
The tragedy struck in Mexico and the revelation comes just weeks after David and Christine’s wedding special aired on TLC. In the special edition of the popular reality series, David gave fans a glimpse into his family and even spoke of his relatives in Mexico.
While his kids were part of the bridal party, David spoke of his two sisters who were living in Mexico and in polygamous marriages. David has seven siblings; Karen, Shanna, Roy, Tamara, Harold, Christine and Katricia.
It is Karen’s daughter Dawna Ray Langford who allegedly lost her life in the tragedy alongside her children Trevor Harvey Langford, 11, and Rogan Jay Langford, two. The Sun revealed the devastating news took place in November 2019, with the three being victims of the widely publicized Mexico massacre. In it, three American moms and six children were found to have died.
At the time, it was reported that the nine members of a Mormon community had been killed in northern Mexico after they were ambushed while traveling from their home on the La Mora ranch to a destination nearby.

It’s said the gunmen had shot at the vehicles containing Dawna and her sons. The other victims were Rhonita Miller, 30; Christina Langford Johnson, 29; Howard Miller Jr., 12; Krystal Miller, 10; and 8-month-old twins Titus Miller and Tiana Miller.
It’s said David’s niece’s son Devin Langford survived the attack and had walked 14 miles in a bid to find help. At the time, Devin joined his dad, also named David to talk to ABC about the horror. He described his mom as a “nice person” and said she had “tried to save her kids”.
David added it was “beyond amazing” that anyone survived the attack, calling his surviving children “living miracles”.
