Niles Secures a Well-Paying Job After Returning to the US

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7 cast member Niles Valentine has shown that he is a man of his word. Following his and Matilda’s knocking ceremony in Ghana, he honored his promise to village elder Mr. Arc by securing a job as soon as he returned to the US.

Unlike some other male cast members on the show, Niles is genuinely a good person, and many fans are rooting for him. However, TLC cast him for a reason: the 27-year-old was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, which has made life challenging for him both physically and mentally. TLC likely saw an opportunity to exploit his condition for reality  TV drama, but Niles’ sincerity and determination have shone through.

Niles’ bluntness, a characteristic of his autism, has affected his ability to form normal relationships with people. Finding love online was something special for him, as he couldn’t achieve this in his everyday life in the US due to his condition. Before flying to Ghana to meet Matilda, Niles worked as a peer advocate and did deliveries to earn extra money. However, he lost his 9-to-5 job shortly before his trip and kept it a secret from everyone. This caused problems later, as being broke and jobless could have hindered their plan to bring Matilda to the US after their marriage.

On the show, Niles had to borrow money from Mr. Arc, who played the role of his “father” for the knocking ceremony. Niles also promised Mr. Arc that he would get a new job as soon as he returned to the US and immediately start the process of Matilda’s spousal visa.

According to Niles Valentine’s LinkedIn page, it seems he has kept his promise. He is now working as an executive director at the Alabama Department of Mental Health, a job he has always wanted. Niles’ new role allows him to work with people who are struggling with autism, just like him. This position not only fulfills his professional aspirations but also enables him to make a positive impact on the lives of others facing similar challenges.
