Some of our favorite daytime stars aren’t only actors… Many are business owners and others are authors, like General Hospital’s Jon Lindstrom (Kevin), who also happens to be doing double duty playing Joey on CBS’ new soap opera Beyond the Gates. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, we have some really amazing news to pass along to his fans…
Our sister site, Deadline, has learned that Lindstrom’s February 2024 debut novel Hollywood Hustle has been acquired for film rights by AETH Entertainment. The company called it “a natural fit for an electrifying cinematic experience” and the best part is, the actor will also be front and center serving as an executive producer on the project.
“I’ve had the chance to play so many great characters imagined by other writers,” Lindstrom told the outlet. “It’s going to be a thrill to see the characters I created come to life on the screen.”
For those who have yet to read the thriller, the story follows what goes down when a once-popular film star’s troubled adult daughter is kidnapped and how he goes to a legendary Hollywood stuntman and a New Orleans-bred private investigator to rescue her from a murderous gang of misfits.
